Hi. Sorry if this might sound off-topic, but how to save my progress? I figured the auto save does not function really...
It does (should atleast). Every room you go into that has monster are saved. If you quit to main menu and continue again, you will find yourself in the last room you entered.
Should this not happen to you, then maybe you have some administrator issues on your system.
Savelocation is at "C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\LocalLow\ScarletPaper\ThornSin".
"gamedata00.save" is the one that saves your location.

setting minion attack power to < 1 does not reduce attack power or AoE attack power
lowering attack power at all causes attacks to do nothing.
lowering enemy attack rate causes character attacks to freeze

Is there anyway to change key-bindings? IDK if it's because I'm groggy as of playing this but it really pisses me off that I have to press ''J'' to progress through the textbox...

1. Wrong Thread
2. You can`t change the key binds in the game. Only option would be something like "autohotkey"

Guardian damage doesn't seem to do anything.
Guardian Damage (I think I named it "pet damage" or some shit) is poorly explained on my part. It works as a bonus multiplier to a minion's damage. It does not directly set their damage.
Specifically, each time a new room is loaded the minion's damage is calculated as totalDamage = (baseDamage * bonusMultiplier) + baseDamage, so even if you set the Guardian Damage setting to 0 the minions will still deal their base amount of damage. Their damage is also only calculated when you enter a room (or when a new minion spawns), so changing it mid-room won't have any effect until you leave the room

Would you rather be able to directly modify their final damage amount instead of modifying the amount of bonus damage? Now that I think about it that'd probably be more clear. I can change it to that next time the game updates
