Yea, that's exactly what I'm thinking. It's why it's only on the doc tentatively. Right now, it's just going to be Strip Club, Brothel, Prison. Once we've gotten that hammered out into an actual game and out into the world, then we'll start thinking about other kinds of content like combat, summoning etc.

For the first actual release to download, I think we'll do it when there's 4 or 5 girls with full on Strip Club, Brothel, and Prison content done, see how people feel about it and react to it, then go from there. First focus being, of course, finishing the entire list of capturable girls for Strip Club, Brothel and Prison content. Just that the first downloadable release and how people find it will help decide whether it's 20 girls capturable (aka no combat), or 28 (if combat is a yes).

Doesn't even need to be said that we can just forego the whole feeds/destroys wheel or types, or even passives or even the current tentative combat idea overall if it doesn't feel like it'd fit or would overcomplicate the game itself. Want to keep it simple and fun for obvious reasons. The only reason combat was brought up was because of the Threat Level stuff.

Overall, planning stage can be done anywhere from a week to a month from now, depending on how much available time the other 2 have what with Uni and all that. Maybe longer, no promises for that, it'd only finish as quickly because this kind of thing is fairly simple to plan out to be honest, it's not the first kind I've planned out and done.

After that, we'll have to wait and see how long from there, for artist and programmer to get it going. I'm not going to be making any deadlines or some such, especially considering we haven't even started yet aside from brainstorming, but also due to the uncertainty of all of our schedules.

Still stick on what to name this, but we've come up with a few more ideas.

Marvelous Marvels
Loki's Ensemble (to play on "Avengers Assemble")
Loki and his amazing friends (to play on "Spiderman and his amazing friends"
Earths Mightiest Trickster Loki (to play on "Earth's Mightiest Heroes Avengers")
Something Assembled/Something Marvelous (to play on how Something Unlimited is named, since this game is inspired by their awesome game)

For our group itself we're still stuck on CSGames (Cuddlslut Games) or Summit Games, or if any of you have a better suggestion feel free.

Also in total for our team we're 3 people right now.
Myself as the writer and also the one whose organizing all of this and planning it out (with the help of the other two's input)
SC as the programmer whose going to be creating this in GM2 and programming it to make it work.
FieryFierro/Bee as the artist whose going to be doing the art and maybe animations if she feels comfortable enough to attempt that.

Currently however we all have busy schedules, with SC and Bee in university and myself having a variety of projects, including moving to a new place very far away from where I currently am, so our team is limited while this is all going on. Regardless we'll do our best to deliver.

We also came to a consensus where once we have the first girls content done (Strip, Bordello, Prison (or dungeon? I find Loki to call his a Dungeon more then a Prison)) we'll release a downloadable version 0.1 and see what the input we get from you guys community wise is.

Marvel game in 2D? Oooh, sounds tempting! Another vote to have Emma Frost on it!
Loki is an interesting and even flavorful option for this.

However, I'd vote to have him as male on all scenes by default and the player opting to go fem!Loki for that scene if they want to.

What engine are you guys using? Ren'Py?

Yea I was thinking once Fem!Loki get's unlocked later in the game, it unlocks an additional yuri scene with each girl. But that's a thing for far later.

Emma Frost was added to the list. Currently the list is 18 out of the minimum of 20 for capturable heroines.

According to SC (whose the only one out of all of us that has programming experience of any kind) he could recreate the engine and capabilities of Something Unlimited in a similar form in Game Maker Studio 2, so for the moment that's what we're using. We'll have to see in the future when development starts happening however, cause this could change.

I'd advocate for you guys to take a good reading on the SU thread and see what people disliked in it to avoid repeating its mistakes!

I don't know the GMS 2 engine... hope it's not buggy! :p

Yea I regularly lurk (and recently post)in that thread. A lot of what people disliked is why we are developing in such a way that we are now. And yea, here's hoping GM2 isn't too buggy! I know It's useful for making more simpler games (thus why it's perfect for this) but that's pretty much all my knowledge on it xD

Looking forward to the future though!

Got a question for you all, how would you feel about, after we get the first girl in and done and the download available, letting you guys vote via Poll on which one gets worked on next? I think it could be interesting.

Another question is, once the captureables are done, should summoned ones/AU ones also be able to work at Strip Club/Brothel? Same with villains? It's a big maybe on our part, because that's a lot more content overall, but it's still something interesting to consider.

As it is your first game, I'd veer on the safer side. You can always do a second version of it with more features

That's what I'm leaning toward. Nothing's stopping us from just, later on adding it onto this once everything is said and done to be honest. Just figured I'd get opinions from ya'll here.

Also, again, not my first game :p. Though it is my first kind of game with this kind of content and overall NSFW.

So while the main content of the game is obviously going to be the porn, what are ya'll's thoughts on things like equippables and items? A current tentative idea is that you can use consumable items for certain things (Like for example Power Nullifiers to make it easier to Capture a certain Heroine, make the next combat easier, or being an outright requirement to capture certain Heroines.), with Loki himself being able to equip an item or 2 to be better at certain things (Like equipping an Armor for increased Health in combat. A Weapon for increased Damage. etc etc). Alongside that, we're thinking of ideas for items like Cosmic Cubes and ISO-8.

While it's focused on porn, we'd still like it to be a fun game overall. That being said, story wise we'd also like it to be something enjoyable with an end game and benefits as you progress so here's our current idea for that, spoilered for those that just want to wait and see.

We'd like to hear any of your thoughts on it, obviously this is a lot of content in and of itself, but as said we want to make one that's also fun and engaging to play, alongside getting your rocks off xD. The latter parts are definetly not something we'd try to get in on the first version, maybe after all of the Heroines are in, then we start moving onto doing that?

I don't like the idea of a grindy combat. I would rather play for the art



I don't want to grind to collect minerals to be processed to be able to influence the characters like in deception of honor either. I would much prefer something like su where the "gameplay" is almost 100% focused on the art

Yea, absolutely wouldn't want to make it a grind or take forever. The main point of the game is, after all, getting heroines to do sexy things for you/Loki. I'll keep that in mind!

While SU is the inspiration for this, we don't want to just make a copy paste Marvel version of it to be completely honest with ya! Alongside that, combat is still a big maybe for us right now, so it might not even happen at all! It'll depend on what people think once the first download is out.

Gotcha, I'll try it out! Though keeping in mind we're wanting to keep combat, if it is a thing, as simple as possible! Rather have it just be a thing that can pop up and be resolved quickly rather then a hassle to go through!

Another vote for no grinding combat. I'd rather have fights related to the storyline like they do in Amity Park.
For example: if you want to go for Sue Storm, there's a fight against her that's thematic with her power. When you go for Storm, her fifth is pretty different and also thematic.

Regarding items: not opposed to them, but please don't be cryptic about their use - let the player clearly know what they're for and how to use them. If you make item combinations, don't force a specific order of operation to combine them.
