Overview:
This mod adds stat tracking, dialogue changes based on those stats, additional choices, and the chance to add some consequences to more of the minor conversations in the game.

ONLY MODDED UP TO DAY 5!

Maby if you can add the Stats to the choices you make so you can see stats befor... You see it in the stats Box.. that vill help alot

You’re thinking Walkthrough mod style? If I do that, I’d make it optional, since some players prefer not knowing exactly what their choices do.

I’m planning to also use the renpy notification system to display the stat changes as they happen.

In some ways, it's the opposite, since this adds choice where there wasn't any before.

Hey I really like this, good work! How often do you think you might update this mod?
My goal right now is to catch up to the same day as the game. Once I've caught up, I'll try to do releases shortly after each new version of the game releases, assuming I can't arrange with the dev to get me early releases. For these incomplete versions I'm making now, I don't think I'll have a consistent schedule, but I'm making progress.

In fact, I'm sitting on more done already, but it's not ready for release yet.

I want to get some utility stuff set up with versioning, etc. to make it less-likely that people will need to start a new save. That being said, the pick-a-day to start feature should make that smooth, even if you need a new save file.

Dev Update
  • Made some additional Day 5 changes.
  • Day 6 is mostly completed.
  • Working on adding dialogue choices in Day 7, which has 2 starting scene paths now.
I think the next version release will include days 1-7.

  • Day 5 basically done.
  • Day 6 basically done.
  • Day 7 mostly done, included a lot of changes, since there are 2 primary paths now.
  • Did some rework of variables and values. Saves won't be compatible (sorry, but I'll try to have day skipping mechanics).
The next version release will include days 1-7.

Hello! I've been re-writing the entire game to give it a better English translation and was wondering about your "dialogue changes" and "additional choices". Basically, I'm wondering how severe these changes are and how I should move forward with the rewrite considering your work here.

That's in mine as well. I thought about splitting the two, but decided that would get too complicated.

Yeah, that's how this mod got started. I was originally just planning to fix up the wording, but a new version dropped that still didn't have any impact based on previous choices. I decided to expand my scope and make the choice mod, since I was going to be rewriting text through the whole game anyway.

Hey, so, I gave your mod the go and I really like the extra choices you created... but... the rewrite I did was a much more extensive one (even thought I just covered 1/10 of the game so far). I can send you to try it out and see what I'm talking about.

I was wondering if we can mesh both of our works into one (if you want to, of course)

I'd love to see what you were thinking. As I started this, I did want the author to open to the idea of integrating my mod at some point, so I don't want to go too far from his original vision with things. In the spirit of that, I tried to fix typos and odd wordings rather than change the style of the storytelling too much.

That said, I'd love to see the direction you're taking. I should also note, not to work off of the current version of this mod, since the next version is a significant change.

I'm working on the script of the latest version of the game since I started working on it before I found your mod (at Day 3 right now).

I'll send you the script in a couple of hours so you can see what I'm talking about but the rewrite is much more extensive in the sense that I completely rephrase sentences, not only to fix the inproper grammar but also use more adequite English vernacular.

I didn't change anything about the story since I tried to keep as close to the original script as possible.
