Job Description:

1. Monitor and analyze the trends within the Japanese mobile gaming market, with a focus on various segments beyond adult entertainment.
2. Conduct research on pertinent topics within the Japanese mobile gaming landscape under the guidance of the User Research Manager. Tasks include desktop research, data collection, deconstruction of game experiences, facilitation of user interviews, among others.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Prior experience in desktop research, game analysis, industry data gathering, and user research is highly valued.
2. Thorough understanding of Japanese culture, particularly in the realms of anime, comics, games, and novels (ACGN). Candidates with immersion in Japanese society will receive preference.
3. Applicants with expertise in art design, content creation, game animation, or fan fiction will be prioritized.

Gaming Experience:

1. Deep familiarity with Japanese gaming and a solid grasp of Japanese ACGN and associated subcultures are essential.
2. Understanding of Japanese mobile gamers' preferences and market dynamics is required, with an inclination towards in-depth exploration being advantageous.
3. Preference will be given to candidates who possess informed perspectives on prevailing Japanese mobile games, their player base, and respective communities.
